Hello, I am Benjamin Gogg, DMSc, PA-C, former US Army Special Forces Medical Sergeant, and Founder of Longtab Quantum Medicine.

The path to founding Longtab Quantum Medicine was shaped by a lifetime of service, a deep respect for human resilience, and a vision to redefine how we approach our health. I began my medical journey as an EMT/Firefighter in Coral Springs, FL, before enlisting as a Special Forces Medical Sergeant in the U.S. Army, serving 13 years with the 3rd and 20th Special Forces Groups, where I honed my medical acumen in some of the world’s most austere environments. That experience instilled in me not only tremendous clinical skills and adaptability but also a profound resilience to serving those in need with precision and integrity.

Following my military service, I earned my Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in 2016 and have trained at several of the region’s leading medical centers over the past 9 years, providing care to diverse populations and critically ill veterans. I completed a two-year internship with Lake Norman Pulmonary Medicine in Sleep Medicine, which grew into an ongoing collaborative partnership that continues to inform our sleep health and sleep hygiene services at Longtab Quantum. I later earned my Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) from the University of Lynchburg in 2023 and joined the faculty at the Lenoir-Rhyne PA program as their curriculum director, helping shape the next generation of providers committed to evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Today, I serve as the Senior Advisor for the National Foundation for Integrative Medicine, contributing to the advancement of innovative, evidence-based approaches in integrative and regenerative medicine. I also recently established a collaborative partnership with Optum Health Functional Medicine in Morganton, NC, further expanding Longtab Quantum’s influence and resources. Longtab Quantum Medicine represents the convergence of these experiences: military-grade dedication, clinical expertise, academic excellence, and innovative collaboration—all dedicated to helping our clients reclaim their health and thrive.
